Sound for Scoliosis
11/05/2010 - By Scranton, PA

Sound for Scoliosis

Sound of Scoliosis was a 3 day event this year spread out through the local downtown scaranton area. the event was put together by Lucia Peregrim co-founder of sound for scoliosis.

Along with Raising money and awareness for scoliosis patients and the national scoliosis foundation, the mission was also a local one, we wanted to bring original music back to the area.

From November 5-7th the foundation hosted a number of events spread across scranton. Friday night kicked off at the NEW PENNY in north scranton, who hosted a metal show including original music from Pave the Way, One Red X,Slap Jaw and Tried to Reason. Saturday Continued the Scranton night life with Area Venues such as The Irish Wolf Pub, The Bog, The Keys, Andy Gavind And whiskey Dick's. Each Venue had its Own Original line Up including country and classical. Sundays Family Day Event was held at the Vintage Theater in downton Scranton. as a venue that host art and original music, collage bands tore up the stage at the all ages show Sunday night.

The event was a huge success and the organizers can not wait to bring it on a little harder in 2011. The Planning has already began and original artist are already being booked. we hope everyone puts us in thier date book to rock out for a good cause.
